So there i was driving back from the health clinic a little on the confused side since i only went there to pick up a piece of paper that said i wasn't a drugie and ended up pissing in a cup then getting stabbed by a needle when my day suddenly got a little more enjoyable. what is that i see in front of me i thought to myself in anticipation as to wether or not it actually was a WS6 or just some POS 6 cylinder. unfortunatly ann oversized woman in an oversized vehicle talking on a minature cellphone stood between me and my Fast (sorry retired VW guy here). so with some careful manuvering i manged to squeeze around her. only to see a beautiful dark blue transam ws6 sitting at the light with an open space next to it. i could tell right away he wasn't gonna play from a dig so i played it all nonchalant as the light turned green and we pulled off at our, as i would consider normal pace. which apparenty i'm a more aggressive driver so i was placed approx. a car in front of him and in second gear. we travelled like this for about 1/4 mile when all of the sudden out of nowhere i here a ws6 rev and take off (it was an automatic apparently) but buy the time i heard it and reacted his trunk was about to my door i just stepped on it we were only initally going about 30mph so i was in second gear and i stuck with him all the way upp untill i hit the revlimiter ( i wasnt paying attention plus my radio was up too loud to herat the motor stupid me) and that gave him about 1 car then i was pulling up to about 100.mph when it was about that time to stop. i'm sure i'll see him around again so maybe next time we can make it a fair race without him jumping the gun like he did. i'm pretty sure i'll still lose but it will at least be closer.

oh yeah i dont feel like reading and editing this so it is how i typed it i guess that's what i get for sleeping in english class.

no i didn't win i said he was in front of me. i only pulled a little bit, I lost. i dont really think losing to a R32 with an intake at the track is that bad considering it's an all wheel drive VR6. i dont know how much you know about r32s but with the right drivers they can run 13.9s in the 1/4mile. i dont see many stock cobalts doing that.

 

Yeah, R32 makes I think slightly more power, and is slightly heavier...but that AWD grip from the start is huge.

 

i was honestly pretty suprised i hung with the ws6 maybe he has somthing wrong with his car i know he modified the exhaust it sounded like ****.

sure dont. if i had to guess i would say LT1 since one of my buddies had a comaro with an LT1/6speed and one day we were driving and some guy with a lightly modded gtp wanted to race. we pulled barely on him and i know that the ss/sc can pull a gtp. so if i had to guesss that would be the one.

 

plus i dont think it was a ramair i didn't get a really good look at it since he was in front of me for the majority of the time.

I raced my wife 2000 Z28 from a dig and she ate me alive. Those cars are strong off the line.

bs flag man, sorry but have to throw it, i have video of me and tommy(italianpride) on this site raising to be what i thought was a 1999 7.5 ls1 and him walking it. Come to find out it was only a 3800 with a lip kit and 20 inch wheels with dual exhaust. Tommy pulled well, but not as much as i woudl have expected on a v6 car. If it was a real trans am ws6 it would have eaten you up when he hit third and i mean pulling cars. Second gear is the best gear in our car so u would maybe be able to stick with him through that, but no way like u described

 

AND DON'T ws6'S ONLY COME IN STICK!

 

those ws6s are mean(LS1 w/ram air). about 325hp stock and they are tq monsters!!! Add a cam and its unleashes a real monster!

 

I love it when people (usually without any knowledge of LS1) throw around factory rating of ~325 hp. lol.
