40 roll, what do you think the outcome is?
His car: Bone stock ZL550/
My car: full bolt-ons tune '09 SS/TC
Other cobalt: Full bolt on/ZZP 252 kit with some boost issues.

 

If the s252 cobalt is running stong, and is at the potential of the kit he wins from like a 60 roll or so. Its just spins anything less than that, and the camaro will prolly get out a good 3 cars before the cobalt will start pulling. Your bolt on car will get tossed. As long as the zl is the one I am thinking, there was a camaro that said something and then 575 at the track that was trapping 124.

First set of honks he thought we were going off his passengers fingers, 2nd set, he floored it in D. Kid that owns it is 19, won a lawsuit and bought it. Red car is the 252et car on low boost (18psi-19psi). I'm on 24-25psi. As you can tell, I missed 4th, FML.

 

boost issues? from the vid i'm guessing he red balt has the s252? looks like it has some big issues for yours to pull so hard on it. congrats on the kill/kills

Thanks, yea, his car seems to only go to 18-19psi for some reason when needed. Then, once it's turned off then back on, 24-25psi. Weird. He's going to a boost controller now.
19 yr old kid asking how much "nawz" I was spraying and was extremely butthurt. The other cobalt owner (wickedlsj) and I were swarmed by his friends after the race. Kid was saying nothing but "dead stop at Gateway right now" (Gateway International Raceway).

 

Good runs. That camaro needs a driver bad. And the 252 car needs to get fixed.

 

Completely agree cmiller. But, it is funny a 13,000 cobalt with under $1000 in mods raped a $60k sc'd camaro. It's ironic, but I'd still rather have his car

 

Right, but while there car looks better and has a bigger motor and more potential, I like my car do to the look on peoples faces when that wastegate opens and I am rolling out on em. I did a run with a turbo fox body the other day, he was behind me and went to pass and I was already in second and punched it spun and hit third and by that time he caught up and was side by side and then I pulled him about half a car to 110 or the end of third. After a bit he went to pass again and I let him, but he pulled into a driveway and I followed to talk to him, my buddie that was riding with me knew the guy and all he said was holy sh*t lol. He said the mustang was making 540whp. But it was a vert and had a roll cage so it was prolly pretty heavy. My car is still way down on power.

 

The excuses, rage, and questions did bring a smile to me. Kid swore I had an upgraded turbo or "nawzz" and just was all butthurt. The red car with the 252 made 350whp around the boost level he ran with in the vid. You can also here him shifting at 7600 compared to my 6500.
