15 inch Rims

Will a 15 inch rim fit on the SS/SC cobalts? Or are 16's the smallest we can go?

i believe 16s are as small as you can go. my winter rims are 16s, and theres not much clearance at all up front.

Exactly... I wanna buy some radials but it seems like every radial im interested in only come in 15, 17 and 18's. I wanna go with the smallest rim I can and still use a radial. I dont think 15's will fit thats why I am asking. I'd use a 16 rim but like I said radials dont come in 16 inch for some reason.

15s will fit if you don't mind grinding a small amount off of your calipers. it doesn't damage them in any way, but sitll seems to scare people away

How much grinding off would be needed?

Would having a 15 inch rims in the front with 18 inch rims in the rear be too big off a difference in size ya think?

it doesn't really matter. i'ld go with a 24.9" up front and like a 26" or 27" in the rear

Anything smaller then 18 on the cobalt ss is too small. And anything smaller then 17 on the basic cobalts are too small.

Thats just my opinion though.

Nothing wrong with that.

Im really liking the BF Goodrich gforce T/A Radial. They only come in one size for a 17inch rim and thats P225/45R17. Do you guys think that will be a thick enough tire to prevent wheel hop? Assuming I guess if I lowered the tire pressure some. I've got the ingalls and poly trans inserts already and dont get wheel hop.
