17" Rims and Pirelli P6 Tires in the snow

It has been snowing here for the past 2 days and I must say I am very impressed with the performance of my Pirelli P6 all season tires. The obviously aren't as good as winter tires, but I was driving up to 100KM/H on partly snow covered roads and never felt un stable. On roads with about 15CM (6") of snow the same was true, stable, turned well, stopped well, just spun a bit on acceleration.

Wow, I thought these things completely sucked in the snow here. Although, we didnt get more than 2" of snow, if that. It is mostly slush and ice around here. I am going to be picking up the Bridgestone LM-25's soon.

I was verry surprised with my P6's. Those, combined with the controlled transmission, and the descent 4 wheel discs, the car was good in the snow IMO. Much better than my old Honda with a stick...
