17 vs 18

I have been looking into some new rims and have realized that by going down to 17's I can save weight and rotational mass. For instance OZ Racing has a rim that is 17.8 pounds at 18 inches and that same rim at 17 inches is 16.2 pounds. Makes our 24 pound stock rims seem heavy. The actual main concern I have is how does 17 inch rims look on the SS/SC cobalt?

17s will look like the 2.4ss's.....18s will look like the 2.0ss's....

i really don't think 1.6lbs is going to be worth you sweating over it. just get some damn wheels.

17s don't look bad. It's all in personal preference. I think 18s are a rediculous stock size on the SS/SC when it doesn't need the size for clearance.

Eh. 6.5 lbs of unsprung weight believe it or not is a noticeable difference.

If you care about being fast, get 17s

If you care about the way they look get 18s

If you care about both, get ultraleggaras
