19's would be ok. i lowered my car 2 inches with sportlines and have the stock 17's. i know that i could put a 19 in there and still have a decent side wall, which means a good ride with all the looks we crave. then again, 18 means cheaper rims and cheaper tires, and a bigger side wall to again, ride smooth. i believe the final decision for me will be the price. love those rims (pic posted earlier).

why do people vote for 19's i don't know... 18 inch wheel is the perfect size for racing straight line or doing autox... don't get 19's thats just stupid

19"s, especially if the wheel your looking at has a lip. 18"s with a lip look tiny on our cars IMO. Take it from me personally. I originally had some 18"x7.5" Enkei WDMs on my SS and they just looked tiny because of the lip. I wound up selling them after having them on only a few months and replaced them with my 19"x8" Axis Mods. I get compliments on my 19"s all the time and I love them! Plus, who cares about the weight of the wheel? Make the 19"s your street wheels, then get some drag radials for your stockers. That's what I'm doing. My 19"s never see the track. Extra wheel weight shouldn't matter on the street, b/c you shouldn't be street racing anyways. Plus, my 19"s only weigh 24.5lbs a piece, which is basically what a stock SS/SC 18" weighs.

Go 19"s, you won't regret it.

agreed. the 19's are for normal street use. I've decided that's what i'll be ordering. the price diff is only $400, so its not a super huge deal.

IMO I dont see the point in upgrading if you want to stay the same size. I under stand the stock wheels are heavy as hell but if weight is an issue go smaller. I think 19's would look really good. Like I said these are just my opinions. I am a firm believer in a set for the track and a set for street(big ****'s).

19s because i bought 18s for my car when i had it. When you put aftermarket 18s on they look small unless you get a big tire. Depends on weather you want a taller tire of a smaller one. I like 19s they look great over 18s.

I concur If i could fit a set of 16's on my SS/TC I would definitely get a set for the track. My goal is to find a light set of 17's for the track. Hell for the street go 26"

If I could fit 15's with no grinding I'd do it. This 18/19 talk is rediculous.

Ralli, i was joking man. 15's just are way to small for me. the roads must suck, because even at the height i'm sitting on, with coilovers, the ride is extremely smooth. Not to mention way way more responsive. Feels like a whole new car. I don't see 19's making much, if any ride change.
