18" Supercharged on 05 LS
I have an 05 LS 2.2 coupe and i want to put the ss 18" rims on my car...i know i have to get the 5-lug hubs. I also need to know if the cb joint, the hub bearing, and the knucle are the same. Do they make drum brakes with 5-lug patterns. How much will it cost me about to do this to my car with and without installation.

CV Joints.
I would look at TurboTechRacing.com or Gravana.com and see if they have anthing for you.
BTW be prepared to be flamed by everyone for wanting to do this. The 5 lug set up is one of the defining features of the SS's and SS S/C's.

I FINALLY got an answer from chevy...they took a week to get back to me. It is going to be very hard to get the 5 lug setup on my car and if i could right now it would cost a fortune to do anyway..ill just have to settle for sh*t 4 lug rims. I wanted to put the SS 5 lugs on and buy the bumper and body kit from the SS too...thanks for the replys

with the money that you're going to spend making your ls look like the ss, between rims, and the kit, why not just get the ss.

I wish i could have gotten the SS Supercharged. For one, my parents bought me the car because we got an AMAZING deal on it. Second, My parents wouldn't have spent money to get an SS even though i test drove 3 of them (SS non-supercharged). Since my parents pay my insurance until college is over ( i am a junior in H.S. now) they wouldn't have payed even more to have the SS, I should be happy with what i have got, although i want to make it even better. Lastly since my mom is pregnant and is due in mid-August she wouldn't be able to drive stick with the baby if for some reason she ever needed the car
I would kill for an SS Supercharged....BTW every weekend i go and look at a couple and compare and tease myself
