2.4SS wheel weight?
2.4SS wheel weight?
Does anyone know what the weight of the 2.4SS 17" wheel is? I'm just wondering, b/c i'm considering using my tax return to purchase new wheels/tires. However, i'd rather not buy any wheels that are heavier than the stockers. I'd love to inch up in diamater w/ 18"s, but I feel that they will just be too heavy for what I desire performance wise. Most importantly, I want a wider wheels, preferably 8" wide to fill out that nasty void between the wheel and the outside edge of the fender. Any help?
(wheels i'm highly considering are 18"x7.5" Axis Reverbs in gunmetal and 18"x7.5" Enkei EVO 5 wheels. However, if either are much heavier than my stockers, than I might either stick with stock or settle for some Motegi Trak-Lites).

Not to be a smartass, but couldn't you just take a wheel off, and go weigh it on a personal weight measurer (like the ones you step on)?
Sorry if that comes across as being an *******, but I think that would be the best thing to do (although that would include the tire as well, and if you're looking for just the rim......couldn't help. Maybe take it to a tire shop and see if they could take the rim off the tire and weigh it and then reinstall the wheel, might cost a little though)

heres an idea..
take your wheel off, take it inside and get naked.. get on a scale, weight urself first then grab the tire/wheel and wieght urself again and just asume or guess..
I say the 17's weight 25lbs
the 18's naturally will weight more.. anyways ya someone tell us

you don't have to weigh yourself with it
