+38 offset, Problems?

+38 offset, Problems?
i was thinking about getting 18" by 7.5 wheels with a 225/40/18 tire. The problem is the rims are +38 offset. Do you think I will have a problem with these rims, such as rubbing. I also plan on lowering my car with sportlines.
