Very nice. Will you be using those wheels on the track?

So, what is the reason for using the aftermarket hub and not the stock one? Stronger?

so you're going with a drag radial then and not a slick...

Is an 11.5" wide tire going to fit in the wheel well? I would think a 10.5" would be plenty, no?

I still have to do a little measuring before I buy them. They are regular slicks. My nittos are around 11 inchs wide and fit great. The slicks might be a hair too close. The wheels fit, Drag. 9 inch dr31s. There are no smaller 17 inch slicks.

Here my Stock SS TC wheels and tires for sale $700 1400 miles on them

And Enkie EDM3 with ET Drag Radials $500 245 40 18 R Micky Thompson

A good deal for someone. I can ship them for actual cost or drive up to 100 miles to meet you for free.

i would hardly call a tire with a medium compound and requiring little/no burnout...a slick. get some reeeaaall slicks lol

have you ever used a pair of these etstreets? I have a pair still from my cobra and they were awesome. exact ones as those as a matter of fact and they do need a burnout, less than a lot of drs because its a bias ply slick that holds its heat, not like some nitto radial you have to john force to heat up.

i have actually on my uncles nova. we went from a 28/11.5 M5 ET street to a 28/9(28/11.5 is still an M5 compound) L8 ET drag, and we were able to launch another 500rpms higher, lowered our 60' by ~10-12hundredths, our 330' by ~3tenths and our et went from a 7.67 1/8 to a 7.14 1/8 maybe we just had a bad set of et streets or theyre all like that. but we picked up ET and a few mph by switching to a slimmer slick with a MUCH softer compound. and i say roughly on the ets for 60 and 330 because i don't remember exactly but i am for sure on the 1/8 times

there is no 28" tall 17" slick. so what tires have you used again lol. I have the 11.5x26x17 et street bias plys on my cobra on a 17x8 and worked great, would go for a 17x9 for a better contact patch, maybe that was your problem. I also know that a lot of people would like to run a taller tire even if its slimmer, works just fine with the contact patch and suspension settings. as for the cobalt, that's awesome he can run 17x9s with the 26" tire, wish I couuld do the same on my hhr but I didn't want to run an adapter and 17x9s on it.

Thats the advantage of my 5x114 conversion. Now I might change the front brakes over to something smaller later

God I wish you were closer, I'd prolly pick up those enkies. Is it 4 matching DRs or is it just a pair of rims and tires? You have any interest in some sorta trade, I have a pair of the slicks your planning to use that only have 3 1/8mi passes on them, 8/32 depth on the pair, didn't measure them new.

Thats fine then, good luck with your sale, and your 5x114.3 conversion. I had the slicks mailed to me but I understand not wanting to deal with it.
