No. I like cars that are done right such as Dom's car, USMD8's car and LS1FBODY's car. "Done right" is a matter of opinion. Am I allowed to have opinions, or should I just be a nutswinger like a lot of people on this site? I draw the line at 215's on 9.5" wheels and more than 5* of camber.

Don't jump all over me because I'm not a lemming.

But maybe im too much of a performance guy to ever understand the stretched tire look.
Theres absolutely no performance gain of any sort doing this. Everythings decreased...
Im all for visual mods... but not when they take away from the performance of the car

I love the Idea of Hellaflush, and its grown on me alot in the fast few months, i used to hate it. Not a fan of Tire stretch tho, esp. that much.

But its your ride, and it better than the cookie cutter mods everyone else does.

People don't just stretch tires that far for the look. They do it because sometimes it's the only way to get the wheels to fit the car. I can completely understand people not liking this look, but when it is done with the right car/wheels/tires the results are amazing. But like everything, there are guys that take it tooooo far and that gives everyone a bad rep.

dragsters do reverse stretch. they slap on those 15in wide slicks or bridgestones on a 7inch wide wheel.....

Those are specialized tires designed for that purpose as well as the sidewall flex helps with launch of the vehicle. Pulling the tire in that much risks the bead popping off as well as far worse tire life. The tires people use for stance werent ever designed for it. While I think your old setup doesnt look bad to me I just cant justify all the cons of this setup. I will always be a performance before show guy. So not knocking your style.
