I know a lot of members have been using this tire so...
Would you buy it again?
What were the down sides?
How many miles did they last?
Did they have a stiff side walls?
Did you buy 235/40 18" or 225/45 18" ?
What do you think would be a better tire to go with?
Remember I need a tire that can handle vary aggressive driving.

since your going to be doing alot of "vary aggressive driving" id go with the 225 on the stock wheel, 235's are gonna cause the sidewalls to bow in " \ / " wich may casue some unwnated flex wich will casue some unpredictable handling carecristics. if you were just worried about drag racing id say go with the 235s.
And if you are lowered... I'd just go with the stick size. I have Eibach Sportlines... and put Yoko 225/45-18's on... and anytime I have someone in the backseat or extra weight in the back... the rear wheels rub when I hit bumps. Sometimes they rub without extra weight... if the bump is big enough. This towns roads are kinda bad in some places though. Railroad crossings FTL.
I wanted to get these tires... but my G/F was buying for my birthday... so she got me the Yokohama AVS Es100's... they were a little bit cheaper... and look good too.

love them, had them for about 2 years and just about need new tires, bout maybe 2000 miles left on rear. never had any problem besides a nail that discount tire direct fixed for me for free. very aggresive, sporty, sucked dick in snow, rain was not bad. traction was great, made some road noise, i went with the 225. 45 i belive and they rubbed when i was under hard breaking and turning, just the inner fender liner a bit. would reccomend them if they wernt so much compared to others id like to try. so i wouldnt buy them again, right away.
45 will be a little bit taller and probably have a slightly softer ride...the 40 will be closer to stock size...I know you can DEFINATELY fit a 225 section tire on a 7" wide rim because I have 225/45/17s on my stockers
there a great tire i had them for about at year then neeeded to get some new tires... i wouldnt recommend them ne more now that i have found a cheaper tire with better bite on them.. there just not in my budget ne more.. but they work great at the track or on the street just wore out to fast for me
I got about 20K of very hard driving out of each of the two sets i've had on the car. First did 225/40, then lowered the car on Sportlines, then 235/40s when the first set wore out. Amazing tires, all around awesome, handle great, fantastic in the rain, really sticky too. Only real downside is the little bit of noise, which I can't hear anymore due to my exhaust, and the price.
not stk rims but love the tires. 8in wide
Using 245 40's up front and 255 40's in back.
Street use and mostly freeway. 25,000 so far on the front and maybe 30,000 when gone so tire wear has been good for my use. The back tires not rotated are like new.
No rubbing back or front. Going to 265's in the back when these are gone and moving the 255's to the front if they fit at all.

I'd do the 235/40/18's if you can. They looked a little meatier than the 225s, and were great. The only issue was the left front was just touching on the inside plastic, nothing bad but the 225/40 didn't touch at all. I'd do 235/40s again when I get another set. Awesome look on the car.
