I've got sportlines and my Yoko's rub when I hit decently sized bumps. I'm running 225/45-18's

So,

In conclusion, everyone that has 225/45's has a rubbing issue. Anyone with rubbing issues for the 225/40's ?

Thanks

Gabriel

I'm gonna tell you my experience, then answer your questions. I live in Oregon, we hit temp's during the winter consistently between 35-50 degrees. Even in our winter, these tires in a 205 form that i had on the 99 civic provided the perfect grip setup. I literally have never lost total traction around turns with these tires, hell never even got a real scream out of em until i took a 90 degree right turn(intersection style) off an onramp doing 45-50. Still stayed in the lane. I have had another couple friends, one of which local which had them on his 06 Sentra SE-R Spec-V Brembo. Lets just say, those tires combined with the breaks saved us from tickets many times. The tires just don't give up, even when under induced slide(which i never had issues with).

Would you buy it again?
Yes I would. They will be the only tire to touch my cobalt once I get rim

What were the down sides?
A little hum from the tires.

How many miles did they last?
Lasted well over a year but then my civic was stolen. Whomever stole the **** is probably just now having to replace em.

Did they have a stiff side walls?
A little flex in tires is a good thing, but yes overall very stiff sidewalls.

Did you buy 235/40 18" or 225/45 18" ?
I personally had 205/40/17. The sentra had 225/40/18. Though the sentra didn't have the optimal race suspension, so my civic all-be-it MUCH slower could yank turns harder. if only i had a b16a and it's gear ratio's i may have been able to have a much better time figuring out which was better. The cobalt will be getting 225's.

What do you think would be a better tire to go with?
Could get the Ultra High Performance dry version of it, that tire has been tried and is a strong competitor.
