Hi jaydd73 -

Would these work on a SS/SC?

I am looking to get a set of all season radials for winter use here in the cornfield.

best regards -

well as of right now, the guys is asking 80$ a piece because theyre brand new. if we can get a couple of people ready to buy, im sure i can get him down a nice penny. im hoping to pay no more than 200$ for a set of 4.....tell all your friends, the more people we have, the better deal well most likely get...

hey MQQN,
YES, they would work on a SS s/c, thats what im driving around.
These would be perfect for a second set of all seasons, or maybe a dedicated winter tire.
thanks for the interest,
jay

as of now, a set of 4 would run about $320...but dont be turned off by that number, get this thread going, and im sure we can buy him all out...hes got 35 pieces to sell, if we can get enough people...im almost SURE hell cut a piece out of that price.

keep me posted, i want them just as bad as all of you do!!!
like i said earlier, im not here to make any money on you, this is a completely mutual purchase.....we all win here, because the more people that buy, the better price well get

Sounds good so far, find out what kind of numbers he cuold do for sets of 2 and 4 shipped.

I'm certain we could get rid of all 35 rims pretty easy (well maybe not all, who would buy an odd number of rims?

do you know what width these are?

ya well first lets get enough people to commit to a set or even a rim, then ill call him up and put my bullshitting skillz into action...lol
i just need some sort of offer to present him with. i cant just say people are interested if u lower ur price...more effective if i say i can take 24 rims off of ur hands @ $40 a piece....and then well probably end at like 60....but ill try to hold it under50$ which would be a sick price since these rims ARE NEW!!

send all ur fellow cobalt owners here, we need more people with an interest in these rims

Thanks jayddd73 -

Ok - I would be in for 4 if we got them in the $50 or less range - would keep me from having to junkyard.

best regards -

If you need an additional bargaining chip, just tell him for $8 more a rim ($88), you could get honest to goodness rims from TireRack. OR, if they get them back in stock, just tell him you can get steelies from TR for $65 each. They're out of stock right now, so that may not be the best bargaining chip to use...or you could say "Well in the past Tire Rack has sold them for $65, so if you can't help us out, perhaps we'll just wait and buy from them."

Either way, good luck with it. I'd be in, but I already have winter wheels so I have no need for steelies.
