Blowout!

OK, I was on my way home from Memphis last night, and had stopped at a mall. Well, when I came back out, I looked at my tires. They looked good. We got in the interstate, and made it 2 miles, and the left front tire blows out. The entire inside sidewall is shredded. I can't find any puncture marks on it whatsoever. My 06 SS N/A has 20,000 on it, roughly, and the tread on the other 3 tires looks good.

Anyone think this sounds like a defect, or is it probably just a tire that went flat on its own, or what?

Oh, and can someone tell me where the lug wrench in our cars is at?
