can it fit?

So next week I'm getting new 17inch rims for the balt to replace the factory 15inch ones. So I'm also gonna replace the 15in spare donut with a 17in spare donut. So my question is, is there anyway for me to fit the 17in donut in the spot where the 15in donut is (its in the fitted spot under the carpeting in the trunk) without serious trunk modification?

It all comes down to the overall diameter of the wheel and tire (regardless of the wheel diameter). I'm not sure what the diameter of the stock donut tire is (I'm pretty sure it will be slightly smaller than the full size tire), but that will determine what will fit.
