can i run these rims

hey iam new to the site but i wanna order rota grid 17x9 20mm offset rims and sport lines, will this work? What tire size would give me the best wide look like the vw's do?

OP what kind of car do you have? is it 4 bolt or 5 bolt? That size won't really be flush, it'll poke.

If you want a cobalt to look like a stanced VW your best bet is sell the cobalt and buy a VW.

that'll poke alot, he's on that, maybe +/-3mm offset from your spec (can't recall exactly) But sportlines wont get you low, so it'll look super retarded. You need coilovers. what 1LSJ2NV listed, but add HSD to that list too

Thanks guys but also do I need wheel spacers and what size tire should I get for them? I just ordered h&r spring so I wanna order the rims and tires tonight.

Nathan's car IS lowered on coilovers, that's the only way you'll get that low.

Ok well then scratch the tucking idea till spring but I do want those rims so what tire should I run with those springs and rim combo?

If you just going with springs then do not get wide rims.....might as well get MSRs and call it a day...

ok well he's running 215s on that 9inch rim. If you're on springs you really don't have to worry about what tire size you should run, since you won't be anywhere near fitted anyways.

Welp I ordered the h&k springs and was stupid cause now iam just going to buy coils instead my buddy talked me into it so ill try to sell them and pick up the coils this week
