Canadian Websites
Canadian Websites
Lokking for Canadian websites to buy tires from, searched and could not find anything.
Tire Rack has the ones I want for really cheap, but between shipping and Broker fees it would be the same as buying them from a local retailers.
Thanks.
Note: Must be canadian.
Rant of the day: Ebay.CA is bullshit. Nothing on the 'canadian ebay' is from canada, its still all from retailers in the the states. Whats the point of having a Canadian ebay if nothings going to be from Canada?

I used tiretrends.ca to buy a pair of BFGoodrich G-force SuperSport A/S. I called up their place, apparently also in British Columbia, and they took down my information, etc. After the phone call, I get a confirmation email, and the next day, tracking number. About a week later, tires delivered to my front door. Overall, I was impressed. Ordering anything from the US to Canada, it's usually a waiting game as to when it is going to clear customs. I've waited anywhere from a week to a month for certain items to make it across. So I definitely try and buy from Canadian retailers when I can.
Also, they did beat Tire Rack's pricing, but only because of the taxes, duties, brokerage. Ended up saving something like $50 ordering from Tire Trends.
But living on a border city, I've always wondered about using TireRack's preferred installed network or whatever they call it. Just ship the tires to a dealer across the border, when they get there, drive over, get them put on, drive back across. Although, I'm a little weary about doing it, seeings that I've got a Toronto Maple Leaf license plate, and I'd be driving into Detroit Red Wing country
