I don't know if you particularly want steel rims but just as an FYI I picked up some nice 16" five spoke wheels called sport edition F7's from the tire rack for $91 a piece. To me, the extra $26 is worth it. They are painted aluminum (silver) and the spokes aren't real fat or skinny. Just perfect. Here is a link for a pic http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Displ...Silver+Painted

Those are good for drag radials also.

If you are talking about the F7's I put them on just to make sure they would fit, and they did. Another member on this site, CMJ917, has a set of sport edition wheels he used as winter rims last year and had no troubles.

Nice. I bought the cheapest rims at Discount Tire for the winter.

They were $65 per rim. The only steel rims I could find were more than that lol. I have the Dunlop Graspic DS-2s and man do they bite in the snow.

What back spacing would we want for a 16x6.5?

There is a tire FAQ thread already with everything you need to know. It is titled "Wheel fitment F.A.Q./How to get wheels for your Cobalt"
