I had an accident and it seems that the repair shop replaced the rim with a 05-06 stock rim. I want to get the part number for them so they don't **** up again...

Can anyone verify that the 07 rims are different than the 05 and 06's?

There's only 2 different kinds of stock lsj rims. One is gunmetal and the other is just silver. The sizes are the same

Ok, so i believe I have the gunmetal...
Are those the silver rims on the car in your sig?
Mine are 5 spoke like the one in your sig but, the have a different lip in between the spokes, on the outer wall.
I will try to find a pic.

My car came from factory with these rims. They are not just malibu rims painted gunmetal. And I know I'm not the only 2007 SS with these.

07's came with 2 wheel options:

- polished 18's (06' wheels polished)
- gunmetal 18's (malibu SS wheels)

They are malibu rims. Lol they put them on several lsjs from the factory but those wheels were originally made for the malibu.

Ok, now that is settled...
We already know these rims were used on some of the 2007 LSJ's but,
Can anyone tell me what years/models these rims were used on the Malibu's?

Hey dude, why don't you just go to a Chevy dealer and ask them? I used to be a Chevy parts man in a different life time (like a really long time ago) and my dad was a long time GM parts manager. Wheels are located in group 5.803. Some parts guys are jerks and won't give you part numbers, but most are pretty reasonable if they understand your problem and there is a possibility of a sale. Just saying, you might find it easier if you go to the source instead of trying to get your information in a round-a-bout manner.

Well there won't be any possibility of sale. The Chevy dealerships I've been to around here don't give a **** unless they have the opportunity to benefit.
Plus, I don't want to waste my time and gas to go to a dealership that MIGHT help me out.
I figured there are some pretty knowledgeable people on here who could assist me with this problem.
Although, it seems, no luck so far...

Thanks. I'd be suprised if there is a part number stamped or stuck onto them, but for my sake I hope there is.

I believe I found the Malibu models that have these rims...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-2012-MALIBU-WHEEL-18-X-7-/261142285984?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3ccd4b0ea0&vxp=mtr
This part will fit these makes and models with these options

MALIBU 08 18x7, 5 single spoke, from 4/25/08
MALIBU 09 18x7, 5 single spoke, w/o hole in spoke; (machine face-painted pocket, opt NW5)
MALIBU 10 18x7, 5 spoke, single, w/o hole in spoke; (machine face-painted pocket, opt NW5)
MALIBU 11-12 18x7, 5 spoke, single, w/o hole in spoke; machine face-painted pocket (opt NW5)

But still no part number...
