ahhhh Rusty..... i had to do a quick search since i don't pay attention to StanceWorks, etc...... i've seen tons of pics of that car. crazy awesome build. my favorite pic is when it's parked under that trailor.

The only thing that I haven't understood that I've seen some stance guys do is the whole rusty hood/roof racks thing. Am I missing something on that?

 

I never understood the whole rusty hood thing, that seems to be more of a honda/vdub thing. I think it's supposed to be a rat rod inspired move, but I don't see the point in letting a newer car look like a pile of junk.

Idk on the roof rack either, but at least they're functional if you snowboard or ski

 

Ah rat rods. Didn't even think about that. Now it makes more sense. I don't understand the point of making a newer car look like that either but I can understand it since it's just modern day rat rodding.

I want to replicate this wheel & tire setup, what do I need to do? {Nube to the stance movement}

What are the - wheels/ tires/ studs/ nuts & spacers I need to get?

How wide of a wheel/tire can i go with both fenders cut 1.5'' [from the edge/lip] & rolled "tight"?

Do I need to cut out some of the inner fender liner?

Do I go with bags or coils?
If so, with bags - who makes them?
If so, with coil - who makes them?

Most likely - I want to get either 19'' or 20".. anyone have suggestions?

Hopefully my question isn't as bad as his, but how did you get the rear of your car to sit so low on your CCW's?? I have Ksport coilovers on mine but I can't even get the rear to tuck tire (it's the black SS with blue wheels above)

 

just spring in the rear man. nothing else.
