if the definition of "goes harder" is having a better suspenion & wheel/tire setup than someone.... then my HHR SS "goes harder" than 60% of this site. pedders springs, stock wheels & goodyear eagle gt tires.

 

hey guys i figured id come to the professionals in this thread for help..i am going for stance here in the next few months with varrstoens and ksports..currently i am dropped on ark springs (i have an 06 ss/sc g85).. can anyone let me know if this set up will work or if I will need any extra hardware..

18x8.5 +30 rear +25 front Varrstoen ES 2.2.1 Hyper Black
215/40/18 tires
KSport Coils (I will be riding on ark springs until I can save up for the coils)

I am looking for some stretch and poke action as well

 

those won't poke much at all. they will be extremely flush though if you don't run a lot of camber up front. i would get a 18x9 if you could if you want poke

 

ah okay..so ill have stretch with the 8.5's and 215/40/18 but not much poke? i know guys that run stance always say you cant get around rubbing and im fine with that but i also dont want to tear up my tires either..i have one fender rolled and another one partially rolled so ill be sure to have that done before i put the wheels on and get my coils...but as far as my set up is looking, it seems pretty safe in terms of not destroying my tires right? lol

i know a lot of this can be figured out through research and trust me i have researched a lot but before I drop a few grand in stance i figured id ask the guys that pull it off first lol

 

Just though I'd let you know if you didn't yet, but I'm 96% positive their 2.2.1 18s are no smaller than 18x9.5 anymore.
