Not sure how similar the HHR fenders sit compared with the cobalt, but I am also running a 7.5" wide wheel and they are sitting flush at 29mm offset.

You know I'm not sure either about the fenders. My 42mm offset Drag's sit pretty close...but I know the 5mm spacer is not much at all.

7.5 wide and +42mm offset is like the stock SS wheels that come on them.

Exactly...so would a 5mm spacer even be worth the $40 and time or should I look at changing my hubs out? I think I read somewhere that a 5mm spacer is the largest you could go with without changing the hubs out or installing longer bolts.

hey man, unfortunately you can barely tell. i tried it not too long ago.

7.5" wide wheel with 42mm offset is the stock setup. largest spacer you can go with before installing longer studs is 8mm, iirc. i'll double check on it, but you're suppose to be able to get 7 full turns on the lugnuts for safety. you don't have to change out the hubs, these guys are only doing it to give them a better wheel selection.

^ This. Stop telling people 8mm, Unless you enjoy seeing people have their wheels fly off.

It's not your car, who cares... and my car rides better "Slammed" then it did on lowering springs.

exactly. it's not my car, so WHO cares? obviously you're caring right now, so settle down and don't get all butthurt.

i know from experience that you can go with an 8mm spacer and still get the proper amount of lugnut turns, i don't recommend it at all tho. heck, i don't recommend the use of spacers or adaptors in general, but i understand that you crazy kids now-a-days need them to get the "stance" you're going for. have fun with it, YOLO homie!

I'll just keep it as is...I was just farting around with the idea. I'll just invest my time into pulling myself instead...more bang for the buck...lol
