My latest project...girlfriends 1st gen xb. It's got a long ways to go...just put the new wheels on it over the weekend and it's dropped on Eibachs. Coilovers and spacers on the way...new windshield installing next week (can't stand that big ass tint strip)...paint coming in the next few weeks. We're doing an old school theme on it...installing a bucket roof rack and a few other pieces here and there. We've had it for a little over a year but just decided to start fixing it up. The previous owner had a set of crusty wheels on it. I got these old school usdm wheels for $230 with tires...sold the tires that were on them for $70 and sold her crusty Konigs for $180 so I ended up ahead. The guy I bought the wheels from had them on an integra running camber. I think they look pretty good on the xb.

Only going another inch...it's my girlfriends daily and honestly I don't think she'll like the coils. I'm going to set it pretty soft for her.

Just found out my wagon won't be ready until Sunday so no coils this weekend

Sucks having these Ksports staring at me everyday in my office and I can't put them on. I did get to go by and see the progress. They have done all the body work including filling my rear wiper hole and squirter...really only thing left is paint and put it all back together. It's being done on the side by a guy that works at a body shop so he has very limited time to work on it. It will be done by this weekend though.

I'm trying to decide what tires to run on my wheels...since we've decided to focus on the xB for now my wheel money is gone. I was going to order some BBS reps but we're painting the Scion instead so I'm going to keep my 17 x 7.5 wheels since they look okay on the HHR.

So on a 17x7.5 wheel...what should I run to keep the height the same (factory is 215/50/17) but give me a little stretch?

You won't able to stretch a 7,5 so just keep it the same as from factory. I run 205 40s on my 17x7.5 but the protege doesn't exactly have the same bodyshape as an xB

Buddy of mine has stretch on a 16x7 stock altima wheel. It can be done, just a matter of finding a rare tire size. I'd say you'd need like a 165/40/17 lol

found a set of rpf1's locally. 18x10 +38 for the front and 18x9 +38 for the rear. trying to get an idea of how much these will stick out over my t/c wheels. trying to gauge for my saturn. any measurements are appreciated.

reverse staggered?

once u mount the 10 wide it wont move with that offset.

they will stick out 6mm over your tc wheels plus the added 2.5in and 1.5in haha
