I am in love with color of rims, what color are they want my rims to have that color thanks

 

They are xxr wheels. 527 i believe. They come that color

 

I need help I'm trying to run wider wheels but the offset thing is killing me I'm looking at 17x9 et20 on a Los lowered 2 maybe 2.5 rear will that work or no I'm not opposed to. Tire stretch but fender roll or pull is out of the question

 

Will poke like a sunofabitch in the back. But would sit flush in the front with the right tires

 

I'm just trying to get a beefy stance if I run a 215/45/17 it should look pretty good that should be enough stretch to tuck the tire but if you are talking like a inch poke then that prob won't work I've got a slight rub on the R/R when I hit a good bump so I don't want it to hit the rim

If will poke like a ************. Over an inch without the tires.

And 215/45 wont be nearly enough

 

Soooo what offset can be used I know a 9 inch wheel is pretty wide for a cobalt so I'm sure there has to be some type offset to pull the cylinder away from the atrut and shock what are you recommending I'd like a tad bit of poke I just think it looks cool

 

Get out the tape measure and find exactly what you want. Buy that size

I've got a terd LS so it 4x100 any offset suggestions in 17x9 there I like the concave style rims

 

What size were these what's that offset that's what I'm trying not to do is waste money on wheels that have 6" poke

and mine is an LS too i swapped to 5x114.3 hubs

 

Yeah that's I'm finding with 4x100 it's hard to get the right offset wheel how hard was the hub swap was it as easy as replacing the hub bearing and obviously the brakes

 

in the rear you have to swap to ss subframe or get rear caliper brackets from powell.

 

sounds like you are trying to do this on just springs?

 

mind sharing your tire size?
