I used a baseball bat and heat gun on my old 240sx. Came out great. You just need A LOT of patience. Be sure not to try to roll one area too much at one time or you'll end up cracking/chipping the paint. Try to work the entire lip evenly. GL and be sure to post up some pictures of before/during/after.
