On my M&H DR's I ran them at 11psi. I felt like it hurt the top end when the car started to get over 100mph.
I found that the heat cycle was more important once I found a tire pressure I liked. I went from a 3 second heat cycle to 5 and cut a tenth off the 60' from 2.05 to 1.95.

I'm running 26"x10.5"x16's on 16x7.5" wheels with a 38mm offset. Those tires are the same size as 255/60/16's. haven't put them on the car yet since it is still snowing here. I know blackss/sc told me that his rubbed a little and he just grinded down the swaybar mount a little and the tire fit perfect. Ya know, the part that sticks out over the tire a little.

I honestly dont think were pushin enough power for much bigger than a 26/9 anyway.
if anything, those are already a bit to big.
I know a few local 10/11 sec big turbo SRT4s who run 24.5X8X15
one guy tested them compared to 26X8.5X15 and got slower times.
i know each car is different, but they are pushing at least 100hp more than us....

it doesn't touch the caliper. It is 26 inches tall which makes it touch the sway bar mount slightly, so he grinded it down a little so the rubbing would stop. What does that have to do with the caliper? He'd need to grind the caliper down if he had 15" wheels.

I know this. Thats my point, instead of running 16s and maybe grinding the sway bar mount, run 15s and just grind the caliper. 15s>>>16s

I'd much rather grind down the swaybar mount a bit on the strut then grind my calipers. Maybe just me.
On another note I thought the 26" tall tires maybe a bit too much for us.

the point is, 26" is going to be 26" on a 15 or 16" rims. And a 26"x10.5" is a common slick that I found for a real good price. So that's what I'm running. I didn't buy them new, I bought them barely used at a great price.

haven't been back to the track since. so what I put in that thread is what I last ran. if KCIR is going to be open like they say they will the last weekend of Feb. then I'll be testing the e.t. streets out there. I should trap close to 105. So I'd say with a high 1.7 or low 1.8 60ft. the possibilites are endless. LOL.

not gonna. I'm still on stock pulley, injectors, header/dp. I have the air box mod and a cut out on the dp. I have to deploy to Kyrgyzstan for the summer, but when I get back I will be purchasing Harrop's TVS 1320. And I'll continue the mod process with that.

well, yea, but no. I am really really picky about how I spend my money, especially when it comes to performance. I am always looking for the cheapest amount of money and the most hp at the same time. I just don't want to waste money ya know?
I already trap higher and am faster than any stage 2 car around here. Only the heavily modded 'balts are spanking me. I see the stage kits as a waste of money. I could make my own kit with less money.
And, since I will be upgrading to the HTVS 1320, I don't see the point in doing anything to the m62 since i will be dumping it off soon. know what I mean?
