ES2's FTW!
Not yet. My car is completely torn apart getting all new parts (including coil overs) before it comes out of the garage for this summer. ES2's WILL BE part of my "new parts" I just sorta like the poke look and I dont think these 8.5in wide rims are gonna do it..
No idea what size the adapters are.. see the pictures of his car? Theres no poke lol. Needs more poke! Idk if im gonns get em. I sorta want the mattalic finish anyways..
Oh wow, I always thought running adapters was the more common thing to do. How much roughly would getting a set custom drilled cost over a standard wheel price? I was thinking about picking up a set of XXRs, but now I think I might do the easy thing and just go for Enkei M52s.
Just like a typical estimate.

It's just my opinion. I'd rather not have to use something to make wheels fit. Less chance of things breaking. Drilling from a vendor would be like an extra $100 probably.
You'll just have to find a vendor who offers the service to get a real quote, obv.
Especially with how ES2's are so popular.. A set in 5x110 would sell immediately here, so it's more of an investment.

If you buy wheels from Varrstoen or a dealer I believe you can get them redrilled from Varrstoen for $150 total plus cost of the wheel and shipping. A machine shop may do it but considering the liability most places stay away or make you sign waives in case the wheel fails. I wouldn't spend the money on these. Adapters are only a reasonable idea when you're running a high offset wheel like Randy and his older Vette wheels that come standard at like +86 or something extremely high like that. Besides, who runs 8.5" wheels anymore..
