Exel Rims?

I was lookin around for some 17" for the Cobalt, and came across some good prices/styles from: Exel. Does anyone that either have these, had these, or know about them think that are an ok brand to buy?

Examples:

not worth it though if you hit a pothole doing 70mph+ and possibly kill yourself or others around you. i wouldn't get them.

* Warning *

I had a set of 17" Exel BK-7's on my 05' Eclipse. They do bend easy. I had bad wheel shake on the highway and I was told one of the rims wasn't true. Meaning the wheel itself wasn't perfectly shaped from the factory. So I had a bad experience with Exel. Just wanted to let you know. This was my car and those were the wheels.

I had the Exel 17" wheels on my other Cobalt. They were good looking wheels and a good price but I had a little vibration on the highway and when I hit the brakes it felt like the rotors were warped. I tried rebalancing and rotating but it didn't help. To some people it may not have bothered them but it did me. I suspect one of the wheels was not true. Here's an old pic.

they are heavy but i've had the same exel rims about 3 years now and i've put them true a ton of abuse.. Yea i bent to lips on the wheels but they still are drivable. For the shimmy on the cobalt that is because you didn't remove the clips that are the lug nuts.

I took the lug nut clips off and it still shimmied. Had hub centric rings and did the same.

I had some Exel wheels on my GTP, they looked good at first, but the quality is not that great, and I'm pretty sure some of the rims were bent after hitting a bump on the highway. The center caps faded pretty bad and ended up looking like crap. I probably won't choose that brand anymore.
