Ah, there you are. Yeah, I do feel better on the 19"s. The guy I take turns commuting to work with has a stripped out, heavily tuned WRX. When we take his car, we're "racing" to work.....when we take my car, we "ball out" to work as he says, lol. My 'balt quickly earned the nickname "ballin 'balt" among my friends and car club members.

I'll get some more pics someday.....right now I've been busy with work and such. I used to be a Pepsi vendor, and now I'm an audio/video technician working on capitol hill in the senate buildings......talk about a change in working/lifestyle, lol. Once I get some money and time I'm gonna do a few more things to the 'balt and snap a few more shots!

Is your car lowered at all? Can't really tell since it's an SS but I was deciding between 17" and 18" and quickly changed the debate to 18" or 19" once I saw 17s on a 'balt in person. I'm about to put progress springs in and I dunno how it would look with 19s, that's why i ask.

Thanks man. Yeah, the pictures aren't the best, but they'll suffice for now.

No plans on going for ride of the month yet. Got a few more things I wanna do before I even try to win car of the month. Read my future mods in my sig......after I accomplish that, then I'll go for it.

07LSC, yes the SS is lowered on Sportlines. I say go 19"s. I put 18"s on my 'balt originally and wasn't satisfied. An 18" wheel with a lip looks kinda small on our cars. I ended up selling them and got 19"s a few months later.

I want to purchase 19" wheels but I just have one questions! How much of a drop can I do with 19" wheels? I saw the B&G Coilover kit and I want to make sure I be able to install the kit with that size wheels!!!

Well I have the Sportlines, which are the biggest drop spring for our cars, and I have no rubbing issues at all, even under hard turning. I know some people, like Doc for instance, have 20"s with Sportlines, and they don't even have rubbing issues, so I think you'd be fine with the B&G coilovers + 19"s. Plus, the B&G's are fully adjustable, so you could always adjust the height the accomodate your wheels.

Haha yeah man. When I met you this past April at HIN and saw your car in person, I knew I had to ditch the 18"s and get 19"s. I didn't originally plan on getting the Axis Mods, but after the wheels I originally planned on were discontinued, I went with these as an alternative, but I'm glad everything turned out the way it did b/c I love them now!

That looks NICE! Good pick on the rims. Black rims look sick on a bright-colored car. I've got black rims on my yellow 'Balt and I love how they look.
