True........ You cant beat that weight! I wonder what the widest tire you squeeze on that would be? Any ideas what size you going to put on?

I would put 225/45/17's. You will have monster wheel gap with 215/45's. 215/50's would work well also.

Maven doesn't care about wheel gap as much as performance. Wheel gap is a semi ricer move. Got to find a ride height that works for the track and street.

I am not concerned with wheel gap, theres no spec for wheel gap so I dont care. LOL When these wear out Ill proly try some 225's, and Ill be running 215/50s in the winter

Correct, wheel gap is the last thing on my mind, and ive never seen wheel gap on a setup sheet so i dont worry about it.

eventually, maybe sooner as Maven rocks on, he can post piktars of some 9 x 17 wheels, with Yoko rubber and new emk3 18's on Pilot sports...its spring, and my fearless prediction is all sorts of things (mostly draincovers) will sprout and grow....kewl
