Gaining possible interest in another Rota group purchase .

Possibly gonna do this again . I was VERY satisfied with my Subzero's . Unfortunately , I had a run in with a large patch of ice and slid sideways into a large curb and bent one . So Im in the market for wheels . The wheels Im wanting are the SVN's in a 18x8 size with a 38mm offset in Matte Steel Grey metallic . Im still waiting on Jessica for a exact weight . My Subzero's were 17 lbs a piece , and Im willing to go to 18 lbs for the 18's . If their over 18 lbs Im not gonna have to think on it . MY backup plan are Black OZ Superleggera's which are 18's for a 18x8 ...but they are pretty roll of cash .

Chime in if u have legitimate interest and actually have money to buy . If all goes as planned and the weigh is kosher ....I would like to have a order in by the end of February and they will take a couple months to get built . Rota makes you put $100 down to place the order and the remaining balance is due when the wheels are complete . The price she quoted me for 18x8 is $750 shipped to your door . I would need 5 paying people to make it happen .

I think I covered all the colors available on the SS/SC and SS NA . The wheel color may seem a little darker than actual . I had to match the lighting conditions in all the pictures . The 2 studio pics are unaltered , so thats the actual matte steel grey color .

I wanna try to have a order in by the end of February . You wont have to pay the full amount until the wheels are done , so youd have a few months . You'd just need a $100 deposit up front .

I think you'd be fine . Hell Remedy has s 225 on a 9.5 wide rim On my old Trans Am , I ran 205 snow tires on a 8" wide wheel with no issues .

I am almost 100% sure they make these in 4x100. Look at Rota's website.

A 4-100 Im pretty sure you can just order with any wheel , without a group buy .

Those are some nice wheels man. I can vouch for Rota making some damn nice wheels for sure as I have them myself. My guess is that the 18x8's will weigh 19lbs because of the extra width.

I would double check the 38mm offset since these rims your about to order are .5" wider than our current Subzeros are.

Finally mad props on the photoshop skills! Way to sell the deal man!

SilverSS/SC, can you PM me about what your plans are for the other three wheels that are good? I wouldn't mind picking up a spare or two so I don't get screwed if something similar happens.

Sure thing Bill ......the 38mm is perfect for a 8" wheel imo . I wish we would have went with less offset on our Subzero's . All the 8" wide Rial Negaro wheels have a 35mm offset and look REALLY good . I wanna a lil more clearence for a 245 tire , hence the 38 .

I hear you on the offsets now. Makes sense. Yeah my back passenger tire rubbed the edge when I had someone sitting in the back and took a corner due to the car being lowered. I think I'm going to roll the rear fenders so that when my Toyo's wear out I can put some 245's on.

Good luck on the group purchase though!

Got info from Jessica .

The 18x8 rim is 20lbs per rim . $100 due when u order for a Deposit . The remaining balance due when rims are complete . Time to build is 2-3 months .

Canadians add $55 USD to the price for shipping .
