General Exclaim UHP?
Anyone had any experience with General Exclaim UHP?
they got a good rating on 1010tires.com .. awesome treadwear but i see a few people complaining about soft sidewalls and getting blowouts... i can get 4 installed and balanced for $670CDN. I want a cheap tire that performs alright and will keep me safe if i do decide to drive quick but i don't want to have a blowout and die either... anyone had any experience with these tires? the price is right but soft side walls being mentioned scares me. i don't do autocross and may hit the strip this summer a bit.
anyone recommend a cheap tire that will keep me safe and maintain some level of performance?

anyone had experience getting tires shipped from the states?
If you need a good UHP tire with M+S (light snow traction) and will last a long time, they are very nice tire for the money.
I'm currently using a set of Exclaim HP 245/40-18's, for some reason some sites don't list the M+S (light snow traction) rating on them, but they are stamped on the sidewalls of my tires
I don't autocross on mine, but I drive spirited and have not had 1 issue with them to date. Only thing I did notice is you had to get a little wear on them to get rid of the greasy feel they have from the factory.
By the way, Continental and General tires are made by the same company.
