Do I need a new tire...? As you can see there's a pretty decent size spot in the tire where the rubber was torn out. Rim is fine its just the tire...

it looks like your tire has a growth on it..

 

I think you will be fine, I have a little chunk like that missing on one of my tires and I have been driving it for a while. (I picked the tire up off someone else and got it like that lol) if you don't want to get a new tire but are still worried you could rotate them to the back so at least if it does pop on you, its not in the front when it happens.

 

That tire is a blow out waiting to happen.

Hard to say. Second pic, your wheel definitely got rashed. I'd try finding the same tire used if you can.
