Why do people insist on getting small rims. Its like the dirty mexicans that buy an F-150 and put 13 inch momos that stick wayyy out. Speedo reads 130 at 65 mph. Not my taste, but you have a beautiful car!

Throw a 6 inch lowering kit on there and itll lock sick!

Man I know they look small in the pics, but they are a 1.5" taller than the stock wheel and tires The tire gel isn't helping either. I would have went with 18" but I already had the tires from my old Cavi.

Cut me a little slack I'm 44, back in the day it was in to shackle up your rear end and put a reverse offset Cragars on the back of your car. Back then only west coast latinos slamed there rides, Cool suburban white kids thought if your car looked like it was going down hill it was "****".

I'm try'n not to be a dork so I'm gonna drop it, but I just can't slam it.

 

i once saw an astro van with like 13 inch rims on it..i was like grow some nuts.

 

i have SSC's and love them, u might not be able to find them so i would just call canuck motorsports (same company) and get them direct. They are the least expensive and have great reviews.

 

17" are small? Oh.. you must be rollin on 22"s on your cobalt, congrats!

 

do be fair, 17s for a cobalt are kinda small, but not sooo small... our wheel wells are huge and 19s look perfect on cobalts.

 

looks good on that color man. i haven't really liked those rims on anything else. but yes, lower it. you already knew that.

I'm not even going to argue about it. It's all personaly prefrence i guess, and personally i wouldn't put 19's on a cobalt. 17's - 18's.. Yes

hmmm well considering he has an LT... I am gonna say the 17" rims with low profile tires are probably around the same diameter as the 16" stockers.

Sorry all of our cars don't come with 18" rims... then again maybe some of us 2.2 guys dont want our speedo's reading 35mph when we are doing 65 either? ever think of that? It does go both ways....
If he was riding on stock 15" at 195/60/15 then his speedo is now 3% slow. If he was on the 16" at 205/55/16 then he is only .38% slow.


So why dont you think before you post.

and BTW since when are 17's small? don't the SS/NA's aka Sports come with 17's? and then the SC's and TC's come with 18's?

19's are getting on the big side. 18's with an eibach kit looks pure sex. Good looking car man. love that colour. Just lower it now.
