Help winter tires

I was reading other threads and i saw that hhr rims will fit the ss. well i found 15's and with 215/60/15 winterforce tires for under $500. Is it ok to drop from and 18 to a 15 just for winter and will they fit right. Same bolt pattern and offset as the ss. Please let me know. thanks a lot

You'll need 16s to clear the calipers on the Cobalt SS.

I got 4 Goodyear Nordic's (205/55-16) for $116.99/each at Canadian Tire and 4 16 inch 5x110 (6.5 inch in width) steel rims from a place here in Montreal called Gordon's Goodyear for $69.99/each. I paid everything, with balancing and installation: $850

Everything is fine with the tires and rims.

Note: Currency is in Canadian Dollars.

You should play it safe and get the 16" wheels and tires. As far as the winter force goes, they are actually very good snow tire for the price, but they are a standard speed rated tire and should not be driven too fast. they have a very soft sidewall so dont expect it to handle well at all.
