how to fit 15's

Tried searching...didn't yield what I was looking for. Can anyone confirm that a 1/4" spacer will allow us to run 15" wheels up front? If so...does anyone know where to buy the spacers in our bolt pattern?

I'm working with Bogart Racing wheels right now to have 15" wheels made for our cars!

If you run spacers, you will need longer wheel studs.

Awesome! I was going to purchase some centerline storms, they match the bolt pattern...but I want 15's not 17's and I know they won't clear the spring "cup" in the wheel well. I'd love to see some bogarts for these cars.

What size DR do you need to run for a 15 up front. I thought that 15's would not fit because the size of the caliper and stuff also.

So why do you want to run 15's?? Weight? Is there really that much of a difference in 15" and 16" wheels as far as weight goes? Once you factor in the spacers... what does it matter?

the more DR you can get the better, i would think. correct me if i am wrong.

I would want 15 inch with drag radials or slicks for the track. in hopes that the more rubber on the rim, with lowered tire pressure, the more grab you can get. ending with better 60 ft, in turn better times.

Less rotational mass...

didn't think of that. don't really since I normal think of that with RWD cars, mainly flywheel and drivshaft.

But very true. help free up more power.

yes, less rotational mass as well as much more options as far as drag radials and/or slicks vs a 16" rim.

Aren't our rotors 11.5 inches? with the caliper on there that wouldn't leave any space.

Thank you tofo for starting this thread. I have been asking for months now and still have no received an answer. 1MEANSS was the one that said that he has done it or seen it done, but when i PM him i get no response. I need a 15" rim on this car for slicks in the summer for the track. They dont make a true slick for a 16" rim yet everyone says they do... and if you look this up, your looking at DR's!

Hope we can get some more info on this topic.
