its time for new tires for my G5. i dont want the stock 205-50-17 anymore i want to go to 225-45-17 as anyone put that size tire on the stock 17inch rims befor and was it ok?

225/45R17 will still fit the stock 17x7 GT/SS wheels just fine.

I ran yokohama avid h4's 225/45/r17 last summer, they were great, I loved them no rubbing with my lowered car at all

thats good that the size will fit, im going to go with the Dunlop SP Sport Maxx i like those ones the best.
