I want to know if these things "really" live up to all the praise they get . This tire has piqued my interest more than any other as seemingly the best out there for a daily driver . The issues I have though ......my past expirience with Goodyear( GS-c's , gatorback , RSA's and Eagle F1GS's ) has been HORRIBLE and I swore Id never buy a Goodyear tire again .
So , from people who actually own them .....whats the verdict ?

the Chevrolet REV IT UP event had the competition cars (stock SS's w/ auto's) shod in F1's and was impressed w/ them.... they are expensive!! I would not buy them if they were to be my only tire on a daily driver (I put on too many miles). I used to run BFG Comp T/A's back in the day when they were the tire (early 90's) and I never got more than 10K miles out of a set.... but, they stuck like glue!!!
here is a link to the Car and Driver HP tire test... the F1's came in first!!!

if money was no object for me... I'd run BFG KDW's or the Yokohama Advan Neova AD07

go look on the svt cobra forums and ask them what kind of tires they are running for the street...
its mosltly drag radials or the goodyear f1's....from what i expierenced, they are the closest things to actual drag's that provide better wet handling than dry

The Goodyear F1 line is quite good........but there's other tires out there that are cheaper and just as good. Like the Michelin Pilot Sport line, and the BF Goodrich GForce line.
Sounds pretty convincing to me .
Eh , the money really doesnt bother me .....given its superior tread rating and wet weather capabilities over a comparable tire . I do drive about 500 miles a week , so a tire with like a 180 treadwear , just aint gonna cut it for me . I have the blizzaks on about 5 months out of the year and drag radials for the track , so its not like theyd see alot of track wear or year around dd driving wear .
they are expensive
If that is the case I recommend the F1's; I have the AS's on right now, which are almost the same as the DS3's, just they have a cross pattern in for snow, they grip just as well in the wet as they do when it is dry
