issues with stock 18s and 225 40s?

Has anyone had any trouble with 225 40s on stock 18s?

As far as ? What kind of problem are you having ? The tire has a shorter sidewall , so your speedo will read faster .

I had that size for about 18,000 miles and no problems at all. I'm using a 235/40 now and it fits nice, even with the car lowered.

Just in general. First dealer we asked to install was skeptical!
