MSR 045's (Black with polished lip)
225/45/18 kumho ecsta Spt tires (Getting new tires in a few months so forgive the sidewall)
Ark GT-F springs

I really can't believe that there are no other silver balts running black MSR 045's with the polished lip!!

What do you guys think about me painting my wing and lower front lip black to flow with the rims?
And I will be tinting my tails soon

The Ark GT-F springs are comparable to sportlines I believe
The drop is something like an inch and a half in the fron and two inches in the back

I bought them from jason. He is the supporting vendor who has been hooking all the cobalt owners up with MSR wheels. They were like $560 delivered to my door with valve stems, lug nuts, and hub rings.

Yea, I love the way it looks now. Just want to be different and I have seen a few others that have done something similar and it turned out great. I would just paint the blade of my wing black and the lower front grill.

The Evo X mod looks really good on our silver cobalts, especially with black housing projectors. I'd say do that, the wheels would really accent it. I'm thinking about getting the black with chrome lip to accent my black add ons.

wheels look great btw

Nice! I would definitely go with 225/40's or 235/40 next time around. Do you not have rubbing issues with 225/45's being that low?

With just me in the car I dont rub at all but I have noticed once or twice when I have a few people in the car and go over a bump the back right tire rubs just barely in one spot... Im going to roll my fender and it shouldn't even come close.

I'm pissed I got rid of my MSR 045's now...mine were the black with red lip. I got them from Jason and just never got around to getting tires...someone offered cash so I took it...he's changing the red pinstripe to white for his Mini Cooper S...will look really nice on his car.

I need to pick up another set of wheels and actually buy tires for them.
