Just ordered some wheels, tire??????

I just ordered some 18" Axis Decade wheels, my question is what tire can I run with out rubbing, I was going to go with a 225-45 will this work, or should i go with a 225-40, the wheels have a 45 offset and are 8" wide, Im also lowered on sportline springs

I don't know much about anything bigger than 16" or 17", but I think with a 18"x8" wheel, you're looking at 225/40 or 215/45...I might be wrong, someone else will probably chime in.

225/40 is perfect. I had 235/40's on 8" rims and I thought they looked a bit wide.

doesn't the off set matter as far as what size tire you can run, I would really like to run a 235/45/18 however my off set is 45, could I run this size tire without any issues??

235/45's are a bigger diameter than stock. 235/40/18's are almost the same diameter as the stock 215/45/18's. You do know the middle # is a PERCENTAGE of the width, right?

Here is a helpful tool for picking tires: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp
