Keep my 18"s or go 19"s?

Well, after having my 18"x7.5" Enkei WDMs on for a few months, im just kinda dissapointed in the size. When parked next to my buddies Foci, whom both of which are rocking 18"s too, my 18"s just look tiny. Since their Foci (Focus) are so small, they are both running a 35 profile tire which looks soooo good. I have a 40 profile tire, which is alright, and neccesary on an 18" wheel for such a big car, but w/ the 19"s, i'd be running a 35 profile tire. Anywho, my girlfriend wants to buy the Enkei's off me for her '05 Tibby V6, but at the "girlfriend discount".......for $700, which is the price we agreed on. I bought the wheels/tires from wheels next for $1,200, so i'll def be losing, but I realllly want the 19"s. The 19"s I want are the Rial Nogaros (Rangerondubz has them), and are 19x8, and will be outfitted with Dunlop Direzza rubber. For $1,300, they aren't badly priced, and are on Tire Rack, which I trust, as i've ordered from them before (got my sportlines from them). I should've just researched a 19" wheel more before buying the 18"s to start with, as the 19"s I want are only $200 more w/ a better tire setup. (Sonar NS-2s vs. Dunlop Direzza). But im retarded and I didn't. I loooove the gunmetal/polish finish of my WDMs, and that color scheme will be greatly missed, as I find silver to me more "ordinary", but I still love the Rial Nogaros, and think they will look better.

So the question is, should I just stick with the 18"s, or say screw it and get 19"s (when money permits).

Mind you, if I keep the 18"s, the money will be spent on Eibach sway bars/Prothane tranny mount inserts..........which would come later no matter what if I got the 19"s.

Not to sound smart cobi but regardless of how it looks, it will look better with the 19's.
I just like the way 19's look.

well yes 19's with those wheels will probably look better but just becuase you have 19's doesnt mean they look better than 18's. I can slap some 19's on that will make you say

plus not everyone knows what these wheels look like and I still want to see those WDM's on a cobalt.

That is where the rim is.

I say go BIG. But I don't like those 19" rims. It's your car though... Good luck!

lol, sorry no pics on the car. Well I have some crappy phone pics, but I dont know how to host pics on a thread. The best I can do is tell you to visit either enkei.com, wheelsnext.com or edgeracing.com to view the WDMs and visit TireRack.com to view the Rial Nogaros. As for pics of the 19" Rial's on a 'balt, just look at Rangerondubz photo gallery, he has a black SS/SC. I have a white 2.4SS, so I think it'd look just as swell.

well, in my opinion, my 18"s look more like 16"s when sitting next to friend's cars w/ 18"s. Plus, the Rial Nogaros are only 24.5lbs each......light as hell for a 19" wheel. About the same weight as a stock SS/SC wheel.

If you're talking about giving her your wheels, Im not sure they'll work. Isnt the SS 5x110? I am pretty sure the V6 Tib is 5x114.3

sorry, i've got a digital camera, just no hookup cable. Maybe i'll hit up Wal-Mart later. I've only used the digital camera once.....took 1 picture, lol. Got it as an x-mas gift.

The WDMs look good, no doubt about it. They just look small. But I feel that an 18"s w/ a lip look small on a 'balt from looking at others on the forum w/ aftermarket 18"s sporting a lip. In my opinion, even with the 45 profile tire, the SS/SC 18"s look bigger than my 18"s w/ a 40 profile tire, simply b/c they don't have a lip. I wish I could get the WDMs in a 19" size, but since I can't, I found a different 19" wheel to my liking.

Once again, sorry I don't have pics.

The Enkei's are universal 5-lug, which is why they have a **** ton of holes.
