Lexani 245/40/18 tires

I recently bought Lexani tires for my balt and Id have to say, I am impressed with the quiet ride and handling on my car.

at 65$ each, I cant ask for more. Very nice tire.

By the way...NEXEN makes these tires. anyone have thoughts on these or tried them?

No rubbing issues? I had a set of Nexen N7000's for a while and they were pretty good. Are yours the ones with the tread pattern like the Nexen N3000?

I'm tempted to order a set of 4 but I have the TC and not the SC Cobalt.
I'm wondering if I should stick to factory size tires at 225/40 18's.
Will the 235 or 245's be too wide for my wheels on the TC?
Also how many miles do you have on yours?
I'm hoping these might last 25-30k miles.

i just bought my tires two weeks ago, so i only have about 1,000 miles on them. I dont know about the TC but the 245/40/18 fit nice on my SC with no rubbing at all.
it rained yesterday and today, and I tell ya, the traction is unbelievable on the wet roads. I was pushing 90Mph at times in steady rainfall. VERY IMPRESSED
AT LEAST, compared to the no name tires I had before. they were terrible in every aspect (BCT tires)
for 64.94 each, these LEXANI Tires are a steal.....period

I found them also on discountwheelwarehouse.com for $59.67 each (225/40 18)
and then total shipping is $70.12

So the total was $308.80
I just ordered them.

I got them put on last Thursday and have put on a few hundred miles on them.
So far I love them. They seem to have pretty good grip taking off. I haven't driven in the rain with them yet though.

You put these on the stock SS/SC wheels? No rubbing issues or anything, how do they drive in the rain?

I put the 225's on my stock wheels SS/TC.
Now I wish I would have gone 235 or 245.

Hey miked5426,

Can you take a pic of how yours covers the wheel. My 225's fit good but no lip overhang to protect rim from curbs.
