from what I have read, that tire size will def fit on the stock rims. Plus you should only be out by about 2% on your speedo which is good because it wont affect abs or anything

225/40/18 is what I am rocking. Check the Yokohama's out. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....odel=AVS+ES100

They are awesome tires. Excellent wet & dry traction. I wore my first set out after 17000 miles and that is with tacking it to the track and beating on it daily. I love these tires.

They're 2% smaller........so at 60 mph on the speedo you'd be going about 59 mph......not enough of a difference to bother at all.

It is cheap for a performance tire, but trust me. They perform very well. I manage a shop and have a lot of experience with tires. These are the best overall tire.

Because his rear tires are bigger than his front tires.

Nexen N7000. I have them on my 18's. They're very cheap, but still good quality. W speed rated, and A/S.

those kumho Ecsta SPT's look GREAT. 90 bucks a tire and good reviews on everything.

our damn stock pirellis have a 4.7-4.9 treadwear rating...unreal...i dont know how i got 23.5k miles out of them, considering this was my first car so I drove SUPER spirited for the first year.

wouldnt that create excess drag? i could see where you would want the traction on the front but to have bigger on the back just for looks....

From what i understand the 235/40/18 will fit on stock wheel. It seems to be the closes to the stock tire dim. than the 225/45/18

235/40/18s are 25.4" OD

225/45/18s are 25.9" OD

The 235's are closest to stock OD.
