lOwBaLt now on 18's

Just finished installing R1 victory rims. Tell me what you guys think. It sits about 1.5" higher than it used to when I had 17's.

looks sick

however, I must say........man 18"s look tiny on our cars! When I park next to two of my best friends, who both have Focus's (Foci?), both newer body style (one's an '05, the other an '07), they both have 18"s and man do they look good on those cars. Makes them look more like 20"s on their cars in contrast to my 18"s on my car, lol. I'm ordering my 19"s on Monday! (my 18"s are being sold to my lovelee girlfriend!)

if it sits higher. then your speedo's off, also if it sits higher, you have the wrong size tires.. your car should sit the same height even the bigger rims if you have the right size, changing the wheel diameter is going to screw alot of things up man. You should go back and get the correct tire size to avoid any possible speeding tickets from your speedo reading slower than you're actually going... that being said... love the look you should tint your tails so your car is totally blacked out then it'll be the pure sex

Def nice lookin balt.

My favorite part is how the rear bumper is the same height as the side skirts, unlike alot of other kits.

ummm... yes you could do that but why when you could get the right size tires? that makes sense to do if you're goin for 20s or something huge but just going for a plus 1 set up you might as well keep it right... plus an inch and a half is a pretty big difference as far as rotation is concerned...

i don't know my theory is usually do it right or don't do it at all... and it's better to be safe then sorry... if you can keep your speedometer correct you might as well do it. I mean you could get it recalibrated or try to do it with HP tuners ( if he has that capability) but those are usually a big hassle either way

I had 17 inch rims with 205 35 17 tires... it was a very uncomfy ride and the bumpers sat real low to the ground (on sportlines). I would be able to tell from a portable GPS system right? I'll see if I can get it checked out somehow...
