My Black LS on Tenzos

Finally got my wheels on. LOOONG story trying to get these but I finally found a set. They had the red inner lip but I painted the red gloss black which looks much better. 18x8 Tenzo Type M on 235/40-18 Nitto 555s. 45mm backspacing. Installed the Pro Kit at the same time which was a disappointment. But a cutting wheel this weekend should fix that a bit
The commuter is about done now.

Thanks all. When I close the fenderwell gap up a little more I think it will bring the car and wheels together better. Might even kick down for a body kit sometime down the road.

Nike, Element wheels was the only place I could find that had them, even Tenzo didn't have them. They charged me $900 for the wheels shipped. The tires I got from my bro at Nitto Corporate

LOL, thanks redline. I'm not a tire shine kinda person. My black SS Silverado has gloss black wheels so I shine those tires up to match. But with these being matte black, the shiny tires kinda look odd to me. I drive 80-100 miles a day so even when I blacken the tires up, by the end of the day they have a nice coat of dust and smog on them
If I add any kit, it will be the GM one. There was a guy with a blue LS that posted his ride on here recently that had the kit on his and IMO it looked really clean, nice and subtle, but not crazy. I'll probably got that route eventually. Probably going to get a StreetScene grille and paint it black too. The stock grille looks plain.
****, and all I wanted was a gas sipping commuter...oh well

dayum that looks awesome.. i would've cut your springs though man.. i'd sell them then buy some sportlines.. with prgressively wound springs ( like most are for our car) itt could seriously mess with the dynamics of th springs..

IMO you should g et the RK front and side lip and the vissage oerr gm rear lip (whatever it is lol)

those would be even better with a red strip on the edge.

Putting the ss/sc kit on a non ss/sc would be even more rice than a body kit. Plus all the heat you'ld get from us. And putting the kit on there is pretty much putting the badging on it.

Taking about a 1/3rd of a coil off the front springs.
