Hi,

I’m planning to buy some tires and Rims 17 inches and I’m not sure about the offset that will fit my car.

My car: Cobalt SS Supercharged 2007
My tires: 215/45/18 (not sure about my offset and dealer was not able to give me the information !)

What I want to buy: 215/50 R17 with 17x7 rims (on stock offset: probably 42mm)

I looked on some websites to do some conversion, and it seems to be the correct offset, but I’m not sure.

offset you can run like 45mm to 35mm easily

rims if your going aftermarket try to find a 17 a little bit wider then 7"

tires i would go 225/45/17

 

I am running a 17x7 with 235/40 tires et29. You can get pretty aggressive with 17s, just make sure you have a lot of stance.

 

 

215/50-17 is the best choice in my opinion.
