need help QUICK!

alright i am about to buy tires and was recommended by another member to get 215/45/17 instead of the stock 205/50/17 size. will i have any fitment issues?

as long as its the right aspet ratio and rim size you should be alright.

thanks for the quick responses. i am buying from tirerack and i work at a dealership and nobody has given me a sure response. the 205/50 size isnt as common as 215/45 so this way i can save some money buying that size.

i dont know if thats a wider tire or not, but i went a tad taller and wider with my second set and didnt have any problelms, dont know if that helps but there u go!

call up a tire shop and ask them. just pretend to be shopping for some tires so they take u seriously and dont give u a half assed answer though

yeah it is a little bit wider (10 mm) and the sidewall is a tad shorter
