So 4-5 days ago I finally ordered the rims I wanted. I picked out 17in Konig Lightnings in white powder coat. Unfortunetly today I got an email from discount tire direct (the place i got them from) and they told me that their is an 8-12 week national back order on these rims and even if I wait the 8-12 weeks their is no guarantee that I will actually be able to get these rims. So I have narrowed the rims I would get instead to 2 choices. I need some opinions becuz I am torn between these two rims.

Drag 55: White Machined Lip
White powder coat with a glossy finish and a machined lip.


Konig Illusion: Black/Ball Cut Machined
Black finish with machined spoke grooves.

 

Get 3 piece wheels!

 

I don't like either although I really dislike wheels that have more than one bolt pattern. So the second ones.

 

Black wheels on a white car is over done, I think the 55s will look really nice.

I wouldla voted for the konigs but my phone HATES polls. But it because they are probably lighter, and dont have extra lug holes. But i agree black on white (and yellow) is overdone. White would look good imo.

 

So I ended up getting the Drag 55 but with a blue center cap instead of the red. Im still upset that I couldnt get my white konig lightnings, i loved those the best and spent sooo long picking them out lol

 

Which one is lighter?

 

Drag 55 are 19.5 pounds each
Konig Illusion are 21 pounds each

 

The illusions look so much better >.< There's a guy on here sellin his with some tires I think, I'm not sure if he's sold em or not yet..

 

that just means you can sell it to more open market when you are sick of them

I dont like the Multi lug pattern. but i still think you made the better choice for your car.

konigs will look better once you are lowered and have other mods on the outside, its really up to you obviously..i would just get my money back and order something completely else...xxr wheels are nice

 

I am getting lowered this week (today hopefully!) and then I should have the rims on by saturday so I will take pics then. Although it will be with the red center caps because the blue wont get to me for like 2-3 weeks
well I have white color matched retros so those are gonna look nice with the white rims.

 

XXR wheels are the wrong bolt pattern. I learned the hard way by ordering the brand new 530s to learn the bolt pattern of the XXR wheels are 5x100

 

Should be getting my new rims put on by Thursday so I will post pics then. Thanks to everyone who gave their opinions and voted in the poll.

So I got my new rims put on today and my lowering springs put on saturday so I will upload pics as soon as I am able to clean all the bird **** off my car lol.

 

I am still waiting for the blue center cap to come in the mail so imagine the center cap blue instead of red. Also I will prob be getting blue lugnuts
